
Oscar-winning actress Patriacia Neal died at the age of 84 years. Neal cause of death is unknown.
"The world of theater and screen actress owners lose great talent, but at the Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center, we have many friends," according to a statement from Knoxveille, Tennessee, where the actress was hospitalized for treatment of stroke and brain. Neal suffered a stroke several times.
Neal is known when starring in the movie "Hud" where he played as a domestic servant who does not fall in love at Paul Newman's cowboy charm. For that role, she won an Academy Award.
Shortly after winning the Oscar, Neal hit back from a stroke, three times. Therefore, he lost the ability to speak and walk.
However, he returned to the world of glass screen, got an Oscar nomination, for a film titled "The Subject Was Rose."
"Neal continues to bring joy to patients and caregivers every time he visited Knoxville," said a statement from Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, where Neal was undergoing rehabilitation. "We will always remember the sincerity."
