Room air could jeopardize the Child Health

Your child is susceptible to disease without known what causes it? Could be, little room is a 'ringleader' of children susceptible to disease.

Without realizing it, you often use products made from chemicals to clean the room. This could trigger the disease. In fact, paint the walls of the rooms also can trigger disease in children.

Researchers from the University of Karlstad in Sweden found that children at risk of allergies caused by chemicals in their bedroom, up to 180 percent. These chemicals trigger the disease known as PGEs, as quoted by the Daily Mail.

Study leader Professor Carl-Gustaf Bornehag said, this study showed concentrations of PGEs, propylene glycol and glycol ethers, in the bedroom air was associated with an increased risk of asthma, rhinitis and eczema in children.

"Our analysis also reveals that the use of water-based paint in dwellings, as well as cleaner (chemical) water-based, is associated with a higher concentration of PGEs in the bedroom air," he added.

The researchers studied 198 preschool children with asthma and allergies along with 202 health inspectors in Varmland, Sweden. Air samples taken from children's bedrooms and eight groups of volatile compounds were analyzed.

The children were then examined by a doctor while their parents fill the general health questionnaire about family health and lifestyle.

As a result, among the substances that are identified are compounds that disrupt hormone suspected. Professor Bornehag added, "Our findings once again raises the question of the health aspects associated with the use of chemicals in our daily lives."
